Welcome to Driving School Canberra - NB Driver Training, one of the ACT's leading Driver Training Schools.

We specialise in quality education and training for all levels of drivers, from those just starting out through to our
more senior drivers who are looking for a refresher course.

Since commencing in February 1998 we have had over 1250 students and of the 90% that stayed with us the
majority obtained their license at the first attempt. In NSW it is as high as 96% with only three unsuccessful
at their first attempt.

Learners
NB: The Bottom Line allow you to learn in either a manual, automatic or even your own car providing that is complies with State/Territory legislation ie. Roadworththy, has a centrally mounted handbrake park break and seating for at least 4.

Defensive Driving
NB: The Bottom Line offer a one day course in Defensive Driving. Your license is not a right but a privilege which you should maintain for your safety and that of others. The one day course in defensive driving covers: Skid Control, Braking Techniques Awareness, Use of the system of vehicle control .

The Older Driver
NB: The Bottom line offers a wide range of driver training courses including those for the Older Driver. The Council on the Aging (C.O.T.A) have a handbook available that offers information and assistance for the older driver, including a self evaluation test.

I have been a Canberra resident since 1958 previously Newcastle (NSW), Walsall (UK). My driving experience included all types of vehicles from motorcycles , Cars to Omnibus and heavy Vehicle Articulated. I can also drive any manner of Front End Loader.

I have held a continuous Drivers License since April 1960. I was on the first course conducted in the ACT to become an Accredited Driving Instructor (ADI) and my business commenced in February 1998. My accreditation number is 10 and in NSW my accreditation number is 10473.
